You are about to Lose Points

in the near future, you may find that your points wane and grow with no apparent pattern. This is partly because the point system is still under revision. but this will also be a fact of life as your number of points may depend on "dynamic variables".

you will all be earning many more points than you currently have, and we won't change the points algorithm during any contests, so these changes are basically inconsequential to the value of your points relative to other users.

Hi Everyone,

This week we are making improvements behind the scenes, so now is a great time to submit feedback to us by email or on "Contact Us". There a couple new features coming which will make linkspanking easier and cooler than ever.

Also, a contest will be coming up soon. Details to come later. Start contemplating your strategies.

Tip of the day: you can make it easier for your friends to find you by adding emails to your account. Click on your profile, then "Email" and add other email addresses.

Site is Up: Reflections on the Seventh Day

Linkspank.com opened for test launch on March 5th. This is day 7 and we have 45 users. Woo-hoo! Yay and thank you to those who have joined the site!! You are awesome and you know it.

There is work to do. But we are on track and this will become sweeter as we grow, since the value of linkspank is created by its users.

For the intrepid first 45, some notes on finding people:

• People have add trouble finding each other, and we're working on that.
  
• If you are looking for someone, put their email into "add friends," or search profiles for their email or username at the top right. (also, if you search for "@", you can see all the current users - for now, at least)
  
• If you can find someone's profile, you can add them as a friend there.
  

Other notes:

• Uploading photos was causing a problem for some people, but it should work now.
  
• The point system is crazy, secretive, and still under construction. It's safe to say that anything you do that makes Linkspank a better place will make you richer in points in the end.
  
• When you have feedback, feel free to click "Contact Us" or just email me - it's super helpful!
