Spankathon being merged with Contests going forward

Dear Spankers -

The Win a Wii / Spankathon initiative has been popular - we've given away Nintendo Wiis to spankers, and there are still some pledgers who are on the way to win.

Starting now, we're not allowing any new Spankathon pledges. We're going to build this concept into the next contest, to make things a bit simpler.

To all those who have made pledges - you can still complete them and get your prizes, of course.

We are still continuing our great tradition of awarding prizes for skilled procrastination.

Dear Linkspankers, another Nintendo Wii has been won through the Spankathon. That brings the total number of Wii winners so far to 2. Both of these glorious individuals will be actually receiving their Wiis in the next week or so.

Someone got their Wii in one week... will you?

Which brings us to an interesting factoid: we currently have a third, unclaimed, Wii in our office. What does this mean? It means that

if you are the next spanker to complete a pledge, you will receive your Wii pretty much immediately.

There are a couple days of red tape, but no ordering, waiting, or acting like a desperate parent shopping during the Christmas season for you!

Spanking emails has gone from easy to super-easy. So if you're looking for a Nintendo Wii (which has outsold the other game systems worldwide) pay attention:

How to Get 1,000 Points

A beautiful milestone was reached today: MikeWMiller hit 1,000 points. While his points may decrease (due to the vicissitudes of quality ratings), he still has hit it and that's a great milestone.


How did he do it? By inviting friends, and spanking them great links. Consequently, an iPhone and special Flair-giving powers have rained upon him.

Who knows what special powers will await him if he attains the fabled Level 6?
